Farmville Blog & Forum
350,000 page views per month
30 days
FVFan.com is a site with several components, first being the blog, which is updated regularly as Farmville updates (between 2 and 3 times per week). The second component would be the Forum section. While this section has just been up for about 3 weeks, it already has almost 2,200 posts, and almost 900 members on it! It will also include the Facebook Fan page, which currently sits at a little more than 20,000 fans, but increases daily. The demographics of the traffic is about 70% female, with about 50% of those being between the ages of 35 and 55. The site can be updated in as little as a few hours a week. I mess around on the forum to increase activity and moderate some spam. I do have 1 moderator on the forum right now, and others could be added. In addition, there is interest from several people to contribute to the blog who could cut the time down even more that is spent on it. It is a well rounded site with a great sense of community to it and lots of active participation. I would be willing to work with the new owner moving things over in a smooth way, I could assist with more ideas for promotion, continued growth, and share the secret to the success thus far.
Revenue - Actual & Forecasted
The revenue that I have had on the site is made up in 3 parts. First is Adsense, which for the month of June (the only full month the site has been around) were at about $25. However, with changing up the ad placement a bit since then, July is already at $42 (as of 7/19/2010). Also there is revenue from Intellitxt, which is around $100 per month. The additional revenue was from selling products. Specially marked products that could be redeemed for in game items that were not available to all. Additional revenue sources that I have not explored that could be explored, include e-books (there are several ones on ClickBanks) as well as reviews of various apps from iTunes that you could make money off of through the iTunes affiliate program. Also, setting up an account for merchandise would be another method to monetize the site further that could be done. It would be worth noting that I have not really pushed the sales on this thing, at all. There could also be some creative ways to come up with monetizing the site by offering up some incentive offers for people to buy affiliate related products with an incentive.
Traffic - Actuals and Forecasted
There is a trickle of Google traffic, which could be improved with some SEO work, I usually do some SEO on my sites, but this one I never did, right now the traffic is almost purely from word of mouth, as well as Facebook Viral Marketing. Some posts on the blog have gotten up to 9,000+ Facebook shares. June 2010 Traffic AWStats: 35,410 Unique 63,565 Visits 349,933 Pages Traffic from 5/26/2010-7/20/2010 (total time online) 75,000 Unique 125,000 Visits 700,000 Page Views

SearchForecast Official Review
The real value in FVFan.com is the 20,000+ Like Facebook fans! The time it takes to build up these "fans" is critical to online success. The website can be redesigned and made more user friendly yet the traffic and facebook components make this site a great purchase.
